Atlantic Braids introduces new 4X™ climbing line identification. When in the field simply multiple the grouping of tracers to identify if the rope is 12 strand, 16 strand or 24 strand. 3 grouped tracers = 12 strand (3 x 4), 4 grouped tracers is 16 strand construction and 6 grouped tracers is 24 strand construction.
